Financial Accounting Foundation

As an independent, private-sector organization, the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF)  is responsible for the oversight, administration, and finances of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), and their advisory councils. Based in Norwalk, Connecticut, FAF provides online, CD-ROM, print, and subscription services comprising the accounting standards promulgated by the FASB and GASB.

FAF went live on Advantage in early 2009.
