Wolters Kluwer Health

Wolters Kluwer Health (a division of Wolters Kluwer), is a leading provider of information for professionals and students in medicine, nursing, allied health, pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. Professionals and students have long relied on WKH textbooks, reference products, and journals. Their bibliographic, reference and pharmaceutical databases, drug information software, point-of-care tools, web-based information systems and online continuing education products also support the delivery of health information via interactive formats.

The company’s relationship with Advantage is a long one, going back to when J. B. Lippincott became an ACS client in 1989.   Through mergers and acquisitions since then, the company in turn became Lippincott-Raven and then Lippincott Williams and Wilkins.   Several years ago, Wolters Kluwer consolidated its various medical information companies into the Wolters Kluwer Health division, although the brand names were kept.

Other than Lippincott Williams and Wilkins, major Wolters Kluwer Health brands using Advantage include Facts & Comparisons and several ADIS journals.  In addition to many of their print and electronic media, WKH also uses Advantage for reprints, licensing, permissions and servicing societies, such as the American Heart Association (AHA).

WKH has Advantage users throughout the world, including the United Kingdom, India and Japan, and they continue to expand, adding new publications and services onto Advantage.
