Administering Your Advantage Environment

This class provides a comprehensive review of the Advantage administration enterprise model. Several topics are covered, including Advantage architecture, security, user and process management, and Advantage maintenance and administration. The goal of this class is to provide a complete picture of the administration model associated with running an Advantage system, so that Advantage administrators can streamline administrative processes and reduce operating costs.

This class will help users understand all the latest features available in the 2008r2 release for:
- Building an automated processing environment
- Managing users and the processing environment
- Monitoring and controlling disk space
- Understanding key system and database management indicators
- Establishing and deciding on a centralized or decentralized report management model
- Creating an optimal Advantage administration model

Course Format: An even mixture of didactic instruction, group discussions, and hands-on exercises.

Course Length: 1.5 days (Tuesday, October 7, Morning and Afternoon + Wednesday, October 8, Morning)

Audience: Advantage administrators who are experienced with running Advantage, but need additional instruction on a wide array of Advantage administration topics, including the newest Advantage operations enhancements in the 2008r2 release.

Class Size: Be sure to sign-up early, as this class is limited to 12 participants.
