Using SQL for Systems Analysis

Empower your systems analysts to become more valuable in their troubleshooting, analysis, and operational roles by sending them to this class. Here, attendees will learn how to use SQL methods to automate and validate software setup tables, identify problematic data conditions in the database that arise from user and process errors, create SQL programs that can be used to exchange data with external systems, manage and replicate data and objects across multiple Advantage areas, and develop reports that can be used to improve operational effectiveness.

Course Format: Mostly hands-on exercises with some didactic instruction and group discussions.

Course Length: 1.0 day (Thursday, October 9, Morning and Afternoon)

Audience: Advantage administrators and SQL programmers who are experienced with SQL, PivotTable reports, and Advantage administrations. This is not a basic SQL class; Attendees are assumed to have a working knowledge of SQL and the challenges of administering enterprise class systems like Advantage.

Class Size: Be sure to sign-up early, as this class is limited to 12 participants.

Software: Advantage 2008r1 with SQL Server 2005.
