Deco Proteste Goes Live on Advantage

Deco Proteste go-live on Advantage celebration.

Congratulations to Deco Proteste, a member of the Euroconsumers group, who recently went live on Advantage with all remaining subscribers in Portugal. This multi-phased ongoing project involves consumer advocacy organizations in five different countries---Portugal, Belgium, Brazil, Spain and Italy---that all produce consumer report publications, but have plenty of differences.

The goal of the project was not only to replace the existing fulfillment system with Advantage, but also to revamp and update the supporting infrastructure that integrates with Advantage. Euroconsumers made a significant investment in internal resources, vendors, and AdvantageCS to bring the entire business forward using new technologies.  As part of the project, AdvantageCS developed a Contact Center solution with new scripting and workflow features that were specifically designed to work for the large contact center operation at Deco Proteste.

There is still work to be done in getting all the Euroconsumers member organizations onto Advantage and supporting systems. However, this go-live is a meaningful step forward for Euroconsumers to demonstrate that the Advantage solution works for its members and can deliver the intended benefits. The Belgian office is up next and will utilize a similar, phased go-live approach.

Jaak Creemers, project manager, had this to say: "A big ‘Thank You !‘ to our team of brilliant and hard-working testers, developers, and business analysts in Portugal and Belgium. Their commitment showed as they invested up to a 4-day long holiday weekend to make this Deco Proteste go-live happen."

The Lisbon (Portugal) team included Maria Brandão De Jesus, Paulo Ferreira, Carla Santos, Alexandra Machado, José Oliveira, António Ramos, Filipe Lima, Gregório Umbelino, António Abrantes, Cristiana Almeida and Ricardo Roque, Ana Borges, André Ramos, Diogo Alves, Temo Clemente.

From the Brussels (Belgium) side, a large analytical team contributed. The follow-up testing and adaptations were managed by Annelies Schupp with Lien Gillis; the overall management of the roll-out was in the able hands of Brigitte Huez.

On the AdvantageCS side, the team of developers, designers, analysts, conversion specialists, systems experts and testers was led by project manager Tim Zapawa. Instrumental supporting resources include Paul DesRosiers, Levi Hyssong and Corey Mantel, as well as the entire software development team who delivered outstanding software modifications up until the last minute.

Congratulations to everyone on a job well done!
