Advancing Payments at AdvantageCS: Preferred Processors

As digital commerce continues to evolve, payment technology has become a critical foundation for subscription, membership, and order-to-cash operations. At AdvantageCS, our goal is simple: help our clients streamline operations, reduce complexity, and take advantage of modern payment capabilities without sacrificing flexibility.

To support that goal, we are introducing a preferred payment processor strategy
centered on a focused set of market-leading partners: Stripe, Worldpay, GoCardless, PayPal, and our recovery platform partner Revaly.

Why Preferred Payment Processors?

The payments ecosystem is broad and constantly evolving with new features, APIs, compliance requirements, and regional capabilities introduced each year. While it is neither practical nor beneficial to optimize for every processor, it is possible (and valuable!) to focus on a strategic set of platforms that deliver the greatest benefit to our clients.

By designating preferred payment processors, AdvantageCS can:

  • Increase investment in strategic integrations - A focused set of partners allows us to proactively align our roadmap with theirs, keeping integrations current, reliable, and feature-rich.
  • Maximize platform and feature compatibility - Preferred processors receive earlier and more comprehensive support for new capabilities, helping clients adopt modern payment features with confidence.
  • Connect clients with leading providers - Stripe, Worldpay, GoCardless, and PayPal are widely adopted, well supported platforms with global reach and strong compliance postures, while Revaly strengthens the ecosystem with specialized recovery capabilities.
This approach reflects our broader integration strategy: actively maintaining and enhancing a focused set of recommended integrations, while continuing to operate Advantage as an open and extensible platform. Our "preferred" partners are:

  • Stripe - A modern, API-driven platform with strong global coverage and rapid innovation.
  • Worldpay - A longstanding enterprise payment provider with broad card and regional support.
  • GoCardless - A leader in bank-to-bank payments, enabling efficient and cost-effective direct debit transactions
  • PayPal - A trusted global brand offering wallets, cards, and alternative payment methods.
  • Revaly - A specialized recovery platform focused on improving payment success and reducing involuntary churn.
Together, these partners cover a wide range of payment scenarios, regions, and customer preferences, allowing us to deliver consistent, well-integrated payment experiences across the platform. However, choosing a preferred payment processor does not mean limiting client choice. AdvantageCS will continue to:

  • Support existing payment integrations - Clients using other processors can continue operating their current configurations.
  • Develop additional integrations when requested - We will evaluate and implement new payment platforms based on client needs, market demand, and strategic fit.
  • Maintain an open, extensible architecture - Advantage is designed to integrate with a wide range of third-party systems through packaged integrations, APIs, and batch processes, giving clients flexibility as their requirements evolve.
What does change is where we focus our proactive investment. Preferred processors will benefit from deeper testing, faster adoption of new features, and tighter alignment with our product roadmap. This preferred processor strategy reflects how we balance innovation with practicality: by concentrating on a core set of trusted partners, we can deliver higher-quality integrations sooner while preserving the flexibility our clients expect.

As always, AdvantageCS remains committed to working closely with clients to determine the best payment approach for their business, whether that aligns with our preferred processors or requires a different solution.
