When a user signs in to a content site using Advantage SSO, their identity is verified—but if they’re not entitled to view certain content, Advantage Paywall steps in to enforce access rules. If the user chooses to purchase access, they’re directed to your eCommerce site, such as Cider Plus, where they also sign in using Advantage SSO. After completing the purchase, Cider Plus sends the order to Advantage, which processes it and pushes the new entitlement to Advantage SSO. When the user returns to the content site, Advantage SSO recognizes the updated entitlement and grants access instantly. The result is a seamless, secure experience from login to content delivery.

Advantage SSO is a tailored implementation designed to work seamlessly with the Advantage ecosystem. 

It not only handles authentication but also receives entitlement data pushed from Advantage workflows. For example, when a user purchases a subscription, that entitlement is automatically sent to Advantage SSO.
