Summer of Innovation at AdvantageCS

Summer may be in full swing, with long weekends, trips to the lake, music festivals, and outdoor gatherings – but at AdvantageCS, we’re focused on more than just sunshine. Our team is hard at work, bringing you the next wave of powerful features to help your business thrive. 

Introducing Advantage Paywall  

First up: Advantage Paywall. As the saying goes, the best time to build a paywall was 20 years ago – the second-best time is now. While paywalls are nothing new, Advantage has traditionally taken an integration approach, working alongside third-party tools. But the time is right to offer our own robust, integrated paywall solution. 

Advantage Paywall will work seamlessly with Advantage Single Sign-On (SSO) and our Cider eCommerce platform, recognizing what content your customers are already entitled to and allowing them to purchase access to additional content with ease. For clients using a 3rd party SSO or another eCommerce platform, we will work with you to integrate the Advantage Paywall with those solutions. Version 1.0 will include powerful features such as customizable display rules, flexible metering, split testing, freemium, and analytics. In future updates, we plan to explore dynamic metering and potentially even AI-powered personalization. 

AI Powered Customer Insights 

Speaking of AI, that’s our second big focus this summer. 

Last year, we launched Porter, our AI-powered assistant for navigating our online documentation. This year, we’re going further, bringing the power of AI and large language models directly into Advantage to streamline customer service and simplify complex marketing tasks. 

Take Customer Overview, which provides over two dozen tabs packed with information: subscriptions, order history, memberships, contact history, and more. While comprehensive, it can be overwhelming. Soon, an AI-generated customer summary will highlight the most relevant information, customizable to your needs, whether you are focused on collecting payments, renewing subscriptions, or following up on recent contacts. 

Smarter Communication Letters 

Communication Letters can be one of the more time-consuming setup areas. Not only do you need to write clear, professional content, but you must also identify and insert the right data elements from a lengthy list of available fields. 

In the near future, an AI assistant will help with both of these tasks. It will be able to draft letter content and intelligently insert relevant data fields in the proper format. While it may not get every detail perfect, it will give you a fast, effective starting point, accelerating the setup process. We also plan to extend this capability to Select Sets, offering the same productivity boost.
