Welcome New Team Member: Amanda Hackbardt

We are excited to welcome Amanda Hackbardt, who joined the Engineering Services team led by Jon Bartholomay. Amanda grew up in South Lyon and attended Michigan State University where she studied computer science and media information. Her passion for game development initially led her to choose computer science as her major, but she ended up loving the coursework in both subjects.

Prior to joining us, Amanda worked at Will Winn Games for one year and was part of the team behind the pirate game “Plunder Panic”, which was released for both console and computer systems. Amanda was drawn to the position at AdvantageCS due to the positive things her sister, Abbi, shared about the company culture. Abbi was an intern here last summer and fall. Amanda is now working on a payment integration project, which will enable customers to make payments without using credit cards, primarily focusing on European operations.

At AdvantageCS, Amanda appreciates the energy and passion of the team, especially when it comes to food! When she’s not working, Amanda enjoys writing, playing video games (her favorite genre is colony survival), and planning trips – she already has a trip planned to Italy for the end of July.

A fun fact about Amanda that many may not know is that she has worked at Michigan Renaissance Festival for two years and even took up maypole and peasant dancing! We can’t wait to see what other surprises she has in store for us.

Welcome, Amanda, to the AdvantageCS family!
